I don't get it, why does insurance cost more (4000 - progressive) for 2005 Nissan Frontier then for a 2003 BMW z4 (2500 - Progressive).... and its not only that, it costs less for a corvette then for a v6 mustang... And its like that for all insurance companies from e-surance to Geico, can anyone explain why or if it even will be that much less?!?!? i mean its more for a BMW 325 4dr (2900 - progressive) then for the BMW z4... How is this possible... Will it cost even less if i get it on my mom's policy? BTW i know BMW are expensive to maintain, but i got a job that i believe will cover everything... do they make z4 4 cylinders or is it only 6? Based on the lowest type of insurance that an 17 year old can get from internet quotes... Ty in advance!

Being sued by an insurance company?

Hello, I got in a car accident about two years ago and i didn't have insurance, i was found at fault and now im getting sued for $20,000 by the other driver's insurance company, The original amount was $17,000, They have been trying to collect for a longgg time now. I know i blew it off for a long time but now im ready to take responsibility and start trying to pay it. The car i was driving was under my moms name and they are trying to go after her also but i want to take full responsibility. I have to go to court next month, and im wondering if I should get a lawyer to represent me even though i'm guilty. I'm hoping that I can make a payment plan or anything I need to get my life back on track

Can i get a california health access card if my mom has me under her insurance?

Can claiming too many hit-and-runs on your insurance raise your rate? Considering none of it is your fault?

I've recently encountered my second hit-and-run instance, and unfortunately my car is somewhat expensive to repair. So, I'm wondering if I should submit a claim with my insurance company to repair it, or try to fix it on my own. I'm told that a hit-and-run isn't a point against me, but that the insurance company may still find reason to raise my rates.

A few hours after I purchased a truck from a dealer, I was pulled over and ticketed for no insurance (california). I did not purchase insurance through the dealer. Don't I get at least one day to buy this myself?? Judge is very strict. I go to court at 9am tomorrow.

Car insurance for a japanese import?

I am looking for car insurance for a japanese import car and I am trying to find companies which will deal with imports and are cheap. I am only 18 so I know that the insurance will be pretty expensive but if anyone has had any experience with imports at this age and can tell me some companies to try that would be great. The car I am looking at is a Mazda mx-3 1.5i . If anyone knows how to get cheap insurance for this I would like to hear from you. It would be cheaper if I was a named driver and could earn no claims discount but I don't know if any of the companies who do that accept imports. I have my toyota avensis 4 door saloon car insured through my broker with Axa. The insurance certificate i have received says 5 door hatchback. I have rang my broker and have been told Axa do not recognise an avensis D4D vermont as being a 4 door saloon.
